HART UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT
Hi, I’m Chris Werthe. I’m a happily married 36 year old father who moved to Santa Clarita in 2015. I have three amazing sons whose names are Alex, David, and Kevin. My family is the light of my life and there is nothing I wouldn’t do for them. I am a military veteran of the Navy and the Army. I am invested personally in our school system and I want the best for everyone’s children, including my own.
Leadership for Our Schools
I have a child who attends the Hart High School District and two more on the way (Pre K and 1st). I want to ensure solvency for much needed programs in the district, especially special education. The special education program is vital to everyone, not just those families in need, as we prosper and struggle together. It is to our advantage that we have a well educated populace as a whole, not just those who won the genetic lottery.
Tonight I addressed the Santa Clarita City Council about the proposed changes to title 14 of the city municipal code governing use of parks and public spaces. With this measure it effectively
I have bowed out of the race for City Council to run for the William S. Hart Union High School Board (area 2). The City Council race was important to me for many reasons, but mostly my children.
